Shelby R.

Shelby R. possesses a diverse background in athletics and communication, currently serving as the Athletic Department Assistant and Special Assistant to the Athletic Director at Wayne State University since September 2019. With experience including roles as a Graduate Assistant and Marketing Student Assistant in the athletics department, Shelby R. has developed a strong foundation in sports administration. Additional experiences include working with the Detroit Red Wings as part of Red Patrol, an internship in Marketing and Communications at the Children's Foundation, and coaching JV Competitive Cheerleading at Flat Rock Community High School. Shelby R. holds a Master of Arts in Sports Administration from Wayne State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Communication Studies and Sports Management.
