Christine Roeder has a diverse background in economic development and business growth. Christine is currently working as the Executive Vice President / Regional Economic Competitiveness Officer at the Detroit Regional Partnership. In this role, they are leading the Global Epicenter of Mobility (GEM) project, which aims to create an advanced mobility industry in southeast Michigan.

Christine also served as the Marketing Manager at bd's mongolian barbeque and as the Economic Development Director/Downtown Development Authority Director at the City of Eastpointe, Michigan.

Christine Roeder completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in American Public Affairs: Metropolitan Studies at Michigan State University from 1989 to 1994. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Urban Planning degree at Wayne State University from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Christine has also obtained a certification in Economic Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council.
