Maria Lalonde

Maria LaLonde is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic development, grantmaking, recruiting, and real estate. Currently serving as the Investor Relations Director at the Detroit Regional Partnership since 2021, LaLonde focuses on attracting investments and jobs to Southeast Michigan. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Program Officer for the New Economy Initiative at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, where LaLonde managed grantmaking strategies for high-growth and inclusion projects. LaLonde also held roles in recruiting and development at Bizdom, was a top-producing realtor at Century 21 East Lake Realty, and operated multiple businesses in the car sales and recruiting sectors. LaLonde began a career in recruiting as a Regional Recruiting Supervisor at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Maria LaLonde earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University between 1992 and 1995.
