Maureen Donohue Krauss

Maureen Donohue Krauss has extensive experience in economic development and community affairs. Maureen Donohue is currently the President/Chief Executive Officer of the Detroit Regional Partnership, a role they have held since June 2020. Prior to this, they served as the CEO of Donohue Krauss LLC, where they provided expertise in developing execution paths for economic development programs.

From 2016 to 2019, Maureen served as the Chief Economic Development Officer for the Indy Chamber/Indy Partnership. During their tenure, they led the Top 20 Amazon HQ2 proposal for the Indy Region and spearheaded a nine-county regional economic development effort.

From 2011 to 2016, Maureen held the position of Vice President - Economic Development at the Detroit Regional Chamber, where they focused on national and international business attraction and led international trade missions.

Before that, Maureen served as the Director of the Department of Economic Development and Community Affairs for Oakland County, Michigan Government. Maureen Donohue'sinnovative programs, such as Medical Main Street and Emerging Sectors, contributed to over $2 billion in new investment and the creation of over 26,000 jobs. Maureen Donohue also held other roles within the department, including Deputy Director and Senior Business Development Representative.

Maureen began their career as the Alumni Relations Coordinator at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Maureen Donohue later became the Executive Director of the Peoria Economic Development Group, during which they played a key role in the development of the Peoria Sports Complex.

Throughout their career, Maureen has been recognized for their achievements in economic development, including being named the Economic Developer of the Year in 1994 by the Arizona Association of Economic Development.

Maureen Donohue Krauss holds a Bachelor of Political Science degree from Albion College, where they studied Political Science and Government. Maureen Donohue further pursued their education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Masters of Public Policy (MPP) degree, focusing on Political Science and Economics. In addition to their formal education, Maureen Krauss also obtained a certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) from the National Development Council in June 1987.
