Ken Waddington

Ken Waddington is the Senior Director of Facilities & Engineering at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Ken has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry.

Ken started their career as a Regional Director of Facility Engineering at Sava Senior Care in 2005. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the construction and renovation of senior living facilities across the United States.

In 2013, Ken joined Compass Group North America as the National Project Manager for Life Safety and Plant Engineering. In this role, they provided support for senior living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities nationwide.

Ken has also served as the Regional Director of Engineering for Integrated Health Services and as President of Creekside Farms INC. Ken is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

Ken Waddington attended the Control Data Institute, where they studied computer programming.

Some direct reports include Keith Kennedy - Chief Engineer, Robert Hobson - Chief Maintenance Technician, and William Guilbault - EVS Technician. Ken Waddington works with Linda Lutz - VP & Chief Financial & Administrative Officer, Matthew Carlson - Senior Director, Communications & Media Relations, and William Shell - Director of Information Technology.
