Mike Murray

Mike Murray is the Vice President of Life Sciences at the Detroit Zoological Society, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Mike served as the Curator of Mammals and Behavioral Husbandry, as well as the Curator of Mammals at Lincoln Park Zoo from November 2017 to March 2023. Mike's experience includes serving as the Associate Curator of Animals at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo from September 2013 to November 2017 and as a Zookeeper at both the Denver Zoological Foundation from March 2009 to August 2013 and Binder Park Zoo from March 2001 to April 2009. Mike holds a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management from Regis University (2010-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Michigan State University (2003-2006).
