Arlen Alvarez Cota

Arlen Alvarez Cota is the current Head of Finance at Deuna. Prior to this, they served as the Financial Business Controller LTL at Solistica from August 2016 to March 2022. Arlen also worked as the Strategic Planning Coordinator at FEMSA Negocios Estratégicos from January 2015 to August 2016, where they were responsible for the analysis of the company’s current “Strategic Businesses” and determination of their Long Range Plan. Arlen has also interned at Talous Consulting and Community Reinvestment Fund.

Arlen Alvarez Cota began their educational career in the Y-VISP program at Yale University, where they studied economics. Arlen then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in economics from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. Arlen has also earned certifications from MITx on edX in Supply Chain Management and from edX in The Challenges of Global Poverty.
