Bernd Rattey

Bernd Rattey is an experienced IT executive currently serving as the Group CIO/CDO and CIO of DB Fernverkehr AG at Deutsche Bahn since August 2014. Rattey's previous roles at Lufthansa from July 2001 to July 2014 included Director of Group IT Architecture and Innovation Management, as well as several directorial positions focused on eCommerce, Passenger Service Systems, and HR-Systems. Earlier in Rattey's career, experience at Evonik Degussa spanned from July 1996 to June 2001, with responsibilities as Teamlead for HR-IT-Systems and as an SAP Consultant and Project Manager. Rattey holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bremen and has further education from London Business School.
