Dr. Mashud Kabir

Dr. Mashud Kabir serves as the Chief Engineer and Head of Automation at Deutsche Bahn since May 2021, overseeing digital control and security technology automation for the German railway. Prior experience includes roles as Software System Architect at Continental, where responsibilities included bug analysis and data management, and significant contributions to embedded software development and testing at Panasonic Automotive Systems. Previous positions at BMW USA, AUDI AG, and Mercedes-Benz AG focused on software and hardware integration, verification, validation, and research in intelligent fault diagnosis within automotive electronics. Dr. Kabir holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen, a Master's in Information Technology from the University of Stuttgart, and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
