Katharina Junge

Katharina Junge is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Leiterin Kommunikation Regionalverkehr at Deutsche Bahn since September 2022. Previously, at DB - DEUTSCHE BAHN AG from December 2011 to August 2022, Katharina held multiple senior communication roles, including Leiterin Kommunikation Personenbahnhöfe, Großprojekte und Sicherheit, and served as the deputy head of the Task Force Social Media. Prior to that, Katharina contributed to DB Station & Service AG as a Referentin Marketingkommunikation from June 2008 to November 2011 and gained initial experience as a Praktikantin at UNICEF between 2005 and 2006. Katharina holds a Magister Artium in Kommunikationswissenschaft, Politikwissenschaft, and Wirtschaftspolitik from the University of Münster, complemented by studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2004 to 2005.
