Brent Newton

Brent Newton is an experienced IT professional with a focus on network security and operations. Currently serving as Firewall Team Lead and Firewall Engineer & Application Profiling AVP at Deutsche Bank since October 2012, Brent specializes in firewall template creation and has published desktop IBAC firewall and proxy changes. Prior to this role, Brent worked as a Network Engineer at iVenture, addressing issues related to desktops, servers, and firewalls, and as a Network and Security Operations Agent at Enterprise Integration, providing support to a range of clients. Brent's career began as a Helpdesk Technician at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, where responsibilities included resolving hardware and software issues and deploying applications. Brent holds a degree in IT Security from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
