Daniel Shields

Daniel Shields is a highly accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in quantitative and strategic analytics within the banking sector. Currently serving as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank since September 2015, Daniel oversees Group Strat Analytics and Platform Engineering, focusing on the development of regulatory-compliant applications and computing infrastructure. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Director at Goldman Sachs from September 2004 to August 2015, specializing as a FICC Strategist. Daniel's career began as a Vice President at Salomon Brothers, where contributions spanned multiple mergers, including with Citigroup, from January 1997 to September 2004. Furthermore, Daniel holds an MPhil in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, attained between 1990 and 1997.
