Friederike Rotsch

Friederike Rotsch serves as the Global General Counsel for Deutsche Bank since September 2023, overseeing Global Legal, Governance, and Data Privacy. Concurrently, Rotsch is the Lead Independent Director and Chair of the Personnel and Governance Committee at SAP, having been a member of various committees since May 2018. Previously, Rotsch held the position of Group General Counsel at Merck Gruppe from August 2005 to July 2023, where responsibilities included Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Trademarks, and Lean & Risk Governance. Earlier career experience includes roles at Hengeler Mueller as an Associate from September 2001 to July 2005. Rotsch's education includes advanced legal studies and degrees from institutions such as Universität Passau and the University of Wales, culminating in comprehensive qualifications in law.
