Majed Abdulkarim Julfar

Majed Abdulkarim Julfar currently serves as Chief Country Officer for the UAE and Head of Corporate Banking Coverage for the Middle East and Africa at Deutsche Bank, a position held since June 2025. Prior to this role, Julfar was the Director of Trade Credit Insurance and Export Financing at Etihad Credit Insurance from March 2019 to June 2025. Julfar's extensive experience at Deutsche Bank includes serving as Head of UAE Coverage and Director in Corporate & Investment Banking from April 2011 to September 2018. Previous roles also include CEO of Financial Services at Univest Group, Vice President of Investment Banking at Emirates NBD, General Manager of Securities at Dubai Bank, Assistant Vice President of Asset Management at Emirates NBD, and Associate at ABN AMRO Private Banking. Julfar holds a Higher Diploma in Hardware Engineering from South Kent College of Technology, completed in 1997.
