Vivek Cheriyath

Vivek Cheriyath is an experienced technology leader in trade finance and digital transformation, currently serving as the Director and Global Head of Trade Finance Digital, Automation and Cloud at Deutsche Bank since March 2011. In this role, Vivek leads initiatives in Trade Finance Automation and Digital Transformation, focusing on operational efficiency and risk reduction. Previous positions at Deutsche Bank include Regional Lead for Trade Finance Technology in the APAC region and Vice President as an Application Manager, where Vivek managed relationships with Business Product Management. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Vivek held roles at Scope International and Megasoft, contributing to project and test management in core banking and technology upgrades. Vivek holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Madras and completed a Fintech Future Commerce program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2016.
