Dr. Markus Beck

Dr. Markus Beck has extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in stock corporation and corporate governance, with a current role at Deutsche Börse as Stellvertretender Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender since September 2006. Dr. Beck serves on the Nomination Committee since September 2018 and is a member of the Risk Committee starting from May 2024, as well as a permanent guest of the Audit Committee. Prior to Deutsche Börse, Dr. Beck worked at Allen & Overy, providing comprehensive legal advice to large publicly listed companies, and at SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz. Dr. Beck's academic background includes a doctorate in law from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and completed the Qualification for Supervisory Board training program in 2019.
