Hannes Ronken

Hannes Ronken is an accomplished legal professional with extensive expertise in banking, financial services law, and cross-jurisdictional litigation. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel and Vice President at Deutsche Börse since October 2018, Hannes manages complex legal matters and provides strategic counsel. Prior experience includes a role as Supervising Associate at Simmons & Simmons, advising clients on various regulatory aspects of banking and financial services, and serving as a Senior Associate at CMS Hasche Sigle, where Hannes focused on payment services and banking law. Hannes began a legal career as a Court Clerk at Mannheim Regional Court, and holds an LL.M. in Business and Finance Law from The George Washington University Law School. Hannes also earned a First State Exam in Law from the University of Mannheim and studied at Universitat d'Alacant.
