Charles Steinberg serves as the Associate General Counsel at The Walt Disney Company since December 2012, leading the trademark legal group and advising on various legal matters including production agreements and branding strategies. Previously, Charles held the position of Assistant General Counsel, where responsibilities included resolving intellectual property and music issues for various Disney business units. From February 2000 to January 2012, Charles was the VP of Intellectual Property & New Media - Legal at ABC, Inc., negotiating significant agreements such as the ABC/Apple iPod distribution deal. Charles has also served as Vice President General Counsel at Televisa International and worked as a Corporate Associate at Fried Frank. Charles earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a Cum Laude A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.
