Sapna Varshney

Sapna Varshney, PhD, serves as Senior Lead Data Scientist for GenAI Solutions at Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs since March 2024. Previously, Varshney held the position of Manager at LEAPS by Analyttica from April 2022 to March 2024, overseeing AI research and projects in the experiential Data Analytics EdTech sector. Varshney initially worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Analyttica, where responsibilities included implementing cutting-edge analytical algorithms and developing data-driven solutions. Prior academic experience includes serving as Assistant Professor & Researcher at the University of Delhi from September 2013 to April 2022, focusing on deep learning and optimization techniques. Early in the career, Varshney was an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, managing projects in the banking and financial services domain. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia and an MTech in Information Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
