Laszlo Konya has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Laszlo started their career as a Developer at MTA SZTAKI in 1996. Later, they worked at Unit4 as a Developer, Architect, and Project Manager from 1998 to 2002. In 2003, they became the Branch Manager at Unit4, where they led software development, implementation, sales, marketing, and logistics units. Laszlo then served as the General Manager for Unit4 in Hungary and successfully dealt with large deals. From 2009 to 2010, they were the CEO at ICT Systems Corp, managing the whole legal entity and leading people management.

Laszlo joined Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions HU in 2010 and held various positions such as Business Operation Manager, Head of Service Delivery Unit, Head of Strategy Management Office, Head of Solutions & Projects Hungary, Head of Digital Division Services, and VP IT Business Services. In their most recent role, they served as the CEO of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary and VP Growth Portfolio. In this capacity, they led areas of significant market growth, managed over 1000 FTEs, and was responsible for business development, sales support, project management, application development, automation, healthcare, testing, and order management.

Laszlo Konya received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School in the years 2014 to 2017. Laszlo also completed a program on Strategy in the age of digital disruption at INSEAD in 2020 and 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a MSC degree in informatics from Babes-Bolyai University in 1995 to 1996, and a BSC degree in computer programming from the same university in 1991 to 1995. Laszlo attended Kolcsey Ferenc Gimnázium but did not obtain a specific degree from there. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2005.
