Andrey Sapegin

Andrey Sapegin currently serves as Squad Lead in SOC Engineering and Senior Security Manager at Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH since November 2019. Prior to this role, Andrey spent over six years at the Hasso Plattner Institute, holding positions as Researcher, Research Assistant, and PhD Student. Andrey's experience also includes working as a System Administrator at Saxess AG and a Software Developer at Unister GmbH. Andrey holds a Dr. rer. nat. in IT-Systems Engineering from the University of Potsdam (2013-2019), and has qualifications as an External PhD Student in IT from Leipzig University (2009-2013) and a Diploma in Informatics from Kaliningrad State Technical University (2003-2008), along with an exchange study experience at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences in 2007.
