Stefan B. Wintels

Stefan B. Wintels is the CEO of KfW, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, Wintels had a notable career at Citi from 2001 to 2021, where they served as the Global (Co-)Head of the Financial Institutions Group, as well as in various leadership roles including CEO of Citigroup Global Markets Deutschland AG. Prior to their tenure at Citi, Wintels was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank from 1994 to 2001. They earned a Master in Business Administration from Technische Universität Berlin between 1990 and 1994.
