Leonie Netter

Leonie Netter is a Policy Advisor for Agriculture and Food at Deutsche Umwelthilfe since July 2022, previously serving as a Project Manager at GUTcert GmbH from August 2020 to July 2022. Prior experience includes research for a master thesis and participation in the ASA program at FuturoVerde Foundation, a role as a Student Assistant at Fairtrade International, and an internship at the Institute for Social-Ecological Research (ISOE) GmbH focused on sustainability research. Leonie gained international experience as a volunteer in Colombia with Benposta from June 2012 to September 2013. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences and Research Management in the Tropics and Subtropics from The University of Bonn and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences from The University of Göttingen, along with a semester abroad at Universidad del Valle.
