Doaa Soliman

Doa Soliman has extensive experience in online and social media, currently serving in this capacity at Deutsche Welle since January 2017. Prior to this role, Soliman was a Senior Digital Journalist at BBC from June 2014 to January 2017 and worked as a Digital Communication Officer at the Anna Lindh Foundation for Dialogue between Cultures from February 2013 to April 2014. Soliman began a career in journalism at The Egyptian Gazette Newspaper, where tenure lasted from August 2008 to February 2013. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Development and Governance from the University of Duisburg-Essen and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a focus on Journalism from Cairo University.
