Gerhard Elfers

Gerhard Elfers is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting. Since 2008, Gerhard has served as a News Anchor and Business News Anchor for DW News in English, alongside a role as a London Correspondent. Gerhard has been freelancing as a journalist since 2003, contributing to various outlets. Between 2004 and 2014, Gerhard worked as a journalist for ARD German TV in London, and from 1999 to 2003, held the position of Executive Editor and Reporter at RTL Hessen. Earlier in the career, Gerhard produced news content for WTN from 1995 to 1997. Gerhard holds a degree from The University of Bonn, completed between 1988 and 1992.
