Tanja Sharma-Daub

Tanja Sharma-Daub is a Data Scientist at Deutsche Welle since March 2024, specializing in developing machine learning and natural language processing models for text classification tasks. Tanja has also been a PhD student in Computer Science at King's College London since September 2015, focusing on the effectiveness of strategies in persuasion dialogue settings. Alongside academic pursuits, Tanja has experience as a S2DS Fellow at Pivigo, where participation in a selective program advanced data science skills through project work. Previous roles include translator and subtitler for the Participatory Culture Foundation, research assistant intern at INECO, and volunteer teaching assistant at Goethe-Institut e.V. Tanja holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from King's College London and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from The University of Edinburgh.
