Sofiane Lesbet

Sofiane Lesbet has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director and Country Manager at Deutsche Windtechnik since February 2019, where also leading sales and business development initiatives. Previously, at WPO from January 2011 to February 2019, Sofiane held various roles, including Senior Consultant responsible for technical due diligence, regulatory review, and advisory services in renewable energy trading. Sofiane also managed regulatory affairs and quality, safety, and environment (QSE) processes for wind turbine audits and oversight of external partnerships. Early career experience includes serving as an HSE Consultant at Bureau Veritas, where Sofiane managed regulatory compliance assessments and staff training. Sofiane holds a Master 2 in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Université de Rennes I, completed in 2010.
