Walter Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Walter currently holds the position of Director of Operations and Maintenance at Deutsche Windtechnik, where they are responsible for managing strategic and operational activities for wind turbine generator projects. Prior to joining Deutsche Windtechnik, Walter served as the General Manager for various divisions at NextEra Energy Resources, including Wind Central Maintenance Execution, NEER Renewables Operations, and NEER Transmission & Substations Operations. Walter also held the role of Power Delivery Safety General Manager at Florida Power & Light Company, where they had previous roles as well. Walter's early career experience includes serving in the US Army as a Military Police Staff Sergeant, with notable achievements such as supervising soldiers and prisoners during combat operations in Iraq and mobilizing to guard a Coast Guard Air Station after the 9/11 attacks.

Walter Brown has a strong education background in both business and engineering. Walter pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at Florida State University from 1992 to 1998. Following this, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Nova Southeastern University from 2001 to 2006, focusing on Business/Commerce, General.

In addition to their formal education, Walter has also obtained several certifications. In 2010, they earned the Green Belt Certification (GB) from the Florida Power & Light Company. Later, in 2021, they obtained the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Level I from NextEra Energy Resources.
