Christi Porter

Christi Porter is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Dev Technology Group, Inc. Christi has over thirteen years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on acquiring talent across multiple divisions nationwide. Prior to their current position, Christi was a Sr. Recruiter at VISA, where they were responsible for the creation and implementation of recruitment strategies, acquiring talent across multiple divisions nationwide, and meeting all related success measurements /goals. During their time at VISA, Christi handled an average job opening load of 30 requisitions at a time with 50% or more on average being Executive level openings. Christi tracked all recruitment related statistics and documented all process and candidate related information. Christi also created presentations in PowerPoint and delivered presentations to executive level audiences for buy in and support. In addition, they actively participated in the creation of training materials for hiring managers, regularly traveled to Corporate HQ for meetings and training, traveled nationwide to attend job fairs for corporate and college hire programs, and traveled to other Visa locations across the U.S. for interviews and special projects. Christi also worked closely with Human Resources to develop stronger minority recruitment programs and continuously strived for new and improved processes for recruitment, resources and interview process. Christi professionally negotiated all details of complex job offers, ensured successful on-boarding and conducted new hire orientation.

Christi Porter has a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Human Services from Old Dominion University. Christi is currently working towards a certification in Photographic Imaging from The Art Institute of Washington. Christi also has certifications from the Project Management Institute in PMP and Agile People Ops in APF CTSM.
