Elizabeth Akerman

Elizabeth Akerman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Elizabeth most recently worked at DeveloCo, starting in November 2021 as a Salesforce Development Manager until February 2023, when they transitioned into the role of Director of Delivery. Prior to that, Elizabeth worked at Dealer Tire from May 2017 to November 2021, starting as an Associate Software Developer and progressing to Senior Salesforce Software Engineer. Elizabeth also held roles as a Software Developer and Salesforce Software Engineer during their tenure at Dealer Tire. From September 2014 to December 2016, Elizabeth worked at FastForming.com, LLC as a Website Developer & Business Office Manager. Elizabeth'searliest known work experience dates back to October 2011 at Profesores Nativos, where they worked as a Foreign Language Teacher in the English Department until March 2013.

Elizabeth Akerman completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and a Baccalaureate in International Studies at Miami University from 2007 to 2011. Elizabeth then attended Hack Reactor in 2016 and 2017, where they completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program in Computer Software Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Weatherhead Executive Education: Women in Leadership Certificate from Weatherhead Executive Education in July 2021. Elizabeth also earned the Agile Foundations certification from LinkedIn in December 2020 and completed courses such as Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals and Scrum: Advanced. Elizabeth additionally holds the Advanced Certified Scrum Developer (A-CSD) and Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) certifications from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in April 2021. Furthermore, they became Scrum Master Certified (SMC) in March 2019 through Scrum Alliance.
