Asmita Malakar

Asmita Malakar is a Product Manager at Develop for Good since October 2023, bringing experience as a Developer at Wave Learning Festival from September 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included maintaining the organization's website using a React frontend and AWS backend. Other notable positions include Cisco High Extern, Web Consultant at re:Bloom, and Frontend Developer at Cledge. Asmita participated as a Cyberpatriot competitor with the Green Hope Black Falcons and was a Junior Academy Student at The New York Academy of Sciences. A technology intern at STEMchats, Asmita developed webpages utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while gaining knowledge of a Firebase backend. Additionally, a Summer Research Fellow at the International Socioeconomics Laboratory, Asmita conducted data analysis to research homelessness in Philadelphia. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University, Asmita also completed a dual enrollment program at Wake Technical Community College.
