Christopher Chaplin

Christopher Chaplin possesses extensive experience in finance, investment, and entrepreneurship. Currently, Christopher is a Member of the Private Capital Oversight Committee at the Development Bank of Jamaica Limited, focusing on venture capital and private equity markets. Christopher also serves as Vice President of Portfolio Management at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation and as Honorary Consul of Jamaica in Philadelphia. With a background as Co-Owner of Hard Beat Communications, Inc., News Americas Now, and CaribPR, Christopher has demonstrated significant entrepreneurial leadership. Previous roles include Investment Officer at Opportunity Finance Network, Director of Private and Public Capital at The Enterprise Center Capital Corporation, and Advisor for the crowdfunding platform Pitch & Choose. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business.
