Kanyisa Mzilikazi

Kanyisa Mzilikazi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment analysis and finance management. Currently serving as Principal Investment Officer at the Development Bank of Southern Africa since October 2021, Kanyisa was previously Senior Investment Officer for Climate & Environmental Finance. Kanyisa's prior roles include Dealmaker for Chemicals, Medical and Industrial Mineral Products at the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa and Senior Investment Associate at the National Empowerment Fund, where responsibilities included franchise and contract finance. Early experience encompasses a position as Financial Forensic Investigator at the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, focusing on market abuse investigations, and as Investment Analyst at the Public Investment Corporation, managing various investment proposals. Kanyisa holds a Master of Management in Finance and Investments from Wits Business School, a B.Com Honours in Financial Management from the University of Pretoria, and a B.Com in Financial Management Sciences from the University of Pretoria.
