Geraint Griffiths

Geraint Griffiths has a rich work experience spanning several companies and roles. Geraint is currently working as an ICT Operations Manager at the Development Bank of Wales since December 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Consultant at Empyrean Digital from August 2021 to October 2021.

Geraint's longest tenure was at Aareon UK, where they held various positions. Geraint served as the Managing Director from February 2018 to September 2020, focusing on delivering digitization and improving existing products in the social housing sector. Geraint also led the development of a delivery strategy to enhance regulation and compliance, digital journey, data management, and operational excellence for social housing customers. Before this role, Geraint was the UK Director of Operations at Aareon UK from May 2005 to January 2018, where they successfully implemented digital solutions, including mobilizing repairs operatives and achieving significant cost savings.

Prior to Aareon UK, Geraint worked as an Operations Manager at the same company from January 2001 to May 2005. Geraint started their career at Systems Team PLC as a Development Manager from April 1998 to December 2000. Before that, they held roles of Development Team Leader and Systems Developer at Microcompass Systems Ltd from May 1995 to March 1998 and August 1993 to April 1995, respectively.

Geraint Griffiths attended Brynteg Comprehensive School from 1983 to 1990. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of East Anglia from 1990 to 1993. At the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computing with a focus on Computer Science.
