Rasel Ahmed

Rasel Ahmed is an experienced ICT professional currently serving as the ICT Network Operations Manager at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment since January 2023. With a career spanning over 18 years, Rasel has held various roles at Telstra since February 2009, including Manager/Senior Network Design Specialist, Project Lead and Operations Manager, Business Analyst, Team Manager, and Subject Matter Expert. Prior to Telstra, Rasel worked as a Business Analyst in Technology Enablement at NAB from May 2021 to January 2023, and served as a University Lecturer at Western Sydney University from April 2007 to July 2010. Earlier in the career, Rasel was the Information Technology & Procurement Manager at Accor and a Network Analyst at IBM. Rasel holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Western Sydney University, completed in 2005.
