Amy Badiani is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in community engagement, program management, and fitness instruction. Currently serving as a Cardio Dance Instructor at the YMCA of the East Bay since October 2024, Amy has held significant roles including Director of Community Engagement and Program Manager at the Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund since August 2018. Amy's experience extends to Development Solutions Organization as CXO and Engagement Manager, and to Doonya as a Dance Fitness Instructor. Previously, Amy contributed to Ashoka in various capacities including Product Lead and Program Manager in the Education and Youth Employment sector. With early career roles at the International Institute Community Development Corporation and Carnegie Mellon University, along with internships at UNDP Small Grants Programme and BICE, Amy possesses a solid foundation in public policy and management, complemented by a Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

Development Solutions Organization
DSO is a student apprenticeship program that delivers pro-bono consulting services to clients in the international development sector. * We link students (undergraduate and graduate) and corporate professionals to form consulting teams that tackle client problems within the international development sector. * We provide student participants with exposure to the consulting industry, insight into corporate partners, and opportunities for post-graduate employment. * We provide professional participants with an opportunity to impact the development realm, a wealth of networking possibilities, and management/recruiting experience. * We provide corporate partners with a pool of potential new hires, who have been tested and vetted during the course of DSO-sponsored client engagements.
