Anu Samarajiva

Anuradha Samarajiva is a seasoned urban designer with extensive experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Urban Designer at Development Strategies since November 2022, Anuradha has also worked as a Freelance Designer and Researcher since 2020. Prior roles include Landscape and Urban Designer at Arbolope Studio and Assistant Director for the Alberti Program at Washington University in St. Louis, where involvement included co-teaching urban design graduate students. Anuradha's background encompasses diverse project management and design work, including community planning and technical assistance for federally sponsored initiatives. Educational credentials consist of a Master of Architecture and Master of Urban Design from Washington University in St. Louis, a BA in Economics from Reed College, and participation in the INArch Summer Institute at UC Berkeley.
