Gerard Finnegan

Gerard Finnegan's work experience includes various leadership roles in different companies and organizations. Gerard has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Devenish, a role they held until the present. Prior to this, they were a Non-Executive Director at Devenish. Gerand Finnegan also served as the Chairman at North West Regional College (NWRC) and a Principal at Gerard Finnegan Associates. Gerard held the role of Governor at North West Regional College and Director at The Londonderry Chamber of Commerce. In addition, they worked as the Strategy and Regeneration Team Project Manager at Ilex the Urban Regeneration Company and Director of Assurance at PwC. Gerard started their career as a Regional Manager at Invest Northern Ireland.

Gerard Finnegan began their education at Queen's University Belfast in 1982, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with Accounting. Gerard completed this program in 1985. Following this, Gerard attended Queen's University Belfast once again in 1985 to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, which they completed in 1986. Continuing their educational journey, Gerard enrolled at ICAI in 1986 and earned their Chartered Accountant (FCA) qualification in 1990.
