Michael Williams

Michael Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael currently holds the position of Director of Education/Principal at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona. Prior to this, they worked as a University Counselor at Grand Canyon University. From 2009 to 2021, they served as the Director of Education/School Principal at the Youth Development Institute. At the University of Phoenix, from 2009 to 2020, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty/Field Supervisor, teaching online education classes and overseeing administrative internships. As a self-employed owner and certified instructor, they ran a traffic survival school called Discount TSS from 2010 to 2016. From 2002 to 2009, they held the position of Director of Virtual Schools/School Principal at Pinnacle Education, where they managed virtual schools and campuses. Prior to that, they worked as a Probation Officer at the U.S. District Court from 1991 to 2002, and as a Sr. Securities Investigator at the Arizona Corporation Commission from 1986 to 1991.

Michael Williams has a diverse education history. Michael completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Studies from Arizona State University in 1986. Prior to that, they received their Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Law from Mesa Community College in 1984. Following their undergraduate studies, Michael pursued a Master of Education degree in Education/Counseling from Northern Arizona University, which they completed in 1993. Later, they obtained a Certificate in Chemical Dependency from Rio Salado College in 1999. Lastly, Michael pursued further education in the field of Educational Leadership and earned their Master of Education degree from Northern Arizona University in 2007.
