Bastian Manz

Bastian Manz is currently the Head of Catastrophe Modeling at DEVK Rückversicherungs- und Beteiligungs-AG - DEVK RE. Previously, Bastian worked at Allianz Reinsurance and Willis Re in various roles related to climate risk assessment and catastrophe modeling. Bastian also has experience as a Postgraduate Researcher at Imperial College London in the field of hydro-meteorology. Bastian holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering/Hydro-Meteorology from Imperial College London, a Master's Degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the University of Bristol.
