Ken Pfau

Vice President, Geosciences at Devon Energy

Ken Pfau is the Vice President of Geosciences at Devon Energy. Ken has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and has worked in a variety of positions ranging from Chief Oil & Gas to Senior Vice President of Exploration. Ken is an expert in their field, and is known for their work in the Marcellus play in Northeast Pennsylvania. In their current position, Ken is responsible for generating new ideas for unconventional plays across the lower 48 using rock science as a foundation. Ken is also responsible for developing new ventures in conventional plays, and employs the best data sources coupled with the power of GIS to provide opportunities. Ken is a highly respected member of the oil and gas community, and is known for their dedication to their work.

Ken Pfau attended Louisiana State University, where they earned a BS in geology. Ken also attended Archbishop Rummel.
