Chris Cardiff, P. Geol. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of geosciences. Chris is currently serving as the Vice President of Geosciences at Whitecap Resources Inc. since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Geoscientist at the same company from January 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Whitecap Resources, Chris worked as a Director at Sharpe Energy Capital starting from January 2020.

From 2016 to 2019, Chris worked at Repsol, where they held the positions of Geoscience Consultant from June 2018 to October 2019 and Geoscience Manager Greater Edson from March 2016 to June 2018.

Prior to Repsol, Chris served as the Team Lead Edson at Talisman Energy from September 2013 to March 2016. Chris also worked as a Principal Geologist at QGC - A BG Group Business from August 2011 to September 2013.

In addition, Chris has experience as a Senior Geologist at Enerplus from April 2010 to September 2011 and at Suncor Energy from June 2003 to April 2010. Chris began their career as a Geologist at Paramount Resources in 1998.

Chris Cardiff, P. Geol. pursued their undergraduate education in Geology at the University of Calgary from 1993 to 1998. Chris obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geology during this period.
