Heath Dorn has over 12 years of work experience in various roles. In 2008, they began working for United Technologies as an Enterprise Delivery. In 2012, they joined Amazon as a Senior Area Manager and then the Jenkins project as a Jenkins Ambassador. In 2013, they worked as a Jenkins Continuous Integration Consultant for CloudBees, and in 2015 they were an Agile/DevOps Coach as a Consultant. In 2016, they became a Senior Group Program Manager, Digital Transformation and Digital Transformation Agile/DevOps Coach at T-Mobile. In 2018, they were an Agile Coach/ScrumMaster/DevOps Coach at U.S. Bank. In 2019, they became a US Space Force Digital Transformation Consultant/Tech7. In 2020, they were appointed as a DevOps Institute Ambassador.

Heath Dorn began their education in 1992 at Snohomish High School, where they obtained their diploma in 1996. Heath then attended Alexander Muss in Israel for one year, followed by Friday Harbor High School, where they were a volunteer fireman, played football, and played baseball. In 1996, they enrolled in The Citadel, where they received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business & Management Information Systems in 2000. In 2002, they obtained their Student Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. Most recently, in 2019, they obtained their SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
