Bob Kocher

Bob Kocher is a director at Devoted Health. Prior to joining Devoted Health, Bob served as a non-resident senior fellow at The Brookings Institution from July 2010 to January 2018. Bob also served as special assistant to the president for healthcare and economic policy at The White House from January 2009 to July 2010. Prior to that, Bob was a partner at McKinsey & Company from January 2001 to December 2010. At McKinsey, Bob led the McKinsey Global Institute Healthcare team and served payors, providers, public sector, and life sciences clients in many countries.

Bob Kocher graduated from the University of Washington with a BA and BS in political science and zoology. Bob then attended the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where they earned their MD in medicine. Bob completed an internal medicine residency at Harvard Medical School.
