Marco Salazar

Marco Salazar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marco started their career at Easysoft Technologies in 2005 as an Analyst IT. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Coordinador Informático at Corporación Metropolitana de Turismo, where they managed system support, equipment acquisition, and network administration. At Tata Consultancy Services, they served as an Ingeniero IT from 2008 to 2012, primarily supporting the migration of the Banco Pichincha Siglo21 core banking system. During this time, they also took on the role of Project Leader, overseeing the implementation of various applications. In 2012, they joined Cobiscorp as an Especialista Técnico 1. Since 2013, Marco has been at Devsu, initially working as a Technical Project Manager and later promoted to Senior Technical Project Manager. Marco is currently serving as the Director of Software Delivery.

Marco Salazar completed their Master's degree in Information Systems and Technology Management at OBS Business School from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Engineering with a focus on Informatics and Systems from the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE, which they completed from 1998 to 2003. In addition, they completed a language proficiency program in French at the Pontifica Universidad Catolica del Ecuador from 2000 to 2002.

Marco also holds two additional certifications: Certified Scrum Master, which they obtained from the Scrum Alliance in December 2014, and Certified Scrum Product Owner, which they obtained in March 2015 from the same institution.
