Regional Lead For Economic Growth And Partnership Of Usaid Funded Asia Resilient Cities Project at DevTech Systems

Poppy Ismalina currently serves as the Regional Lead for Economic Growth and Partnership on the USAID-funded Asia Resilient Cities Project at DevTech Systems, Inc., focusing on fostering economic growth and partnerships in five Asian countries. Previous roles include Industrial Economist at USAID EGSA, where Poppy prepared the Roadmap of Economic Transformation for Riau Island, and Senior Economist at PROSPERA, providing analysis for Indonesia's green economy initiatives. Poppy has extensive experience in academia as an Associate Professor at Universitas Gadjah Mada and has held advisory positions on women's economic empowerment and climate finance with various organizations. Poppy holds a PhD in Industry and Competitive Analysis and a Master's in Economic Development, alongside executive education from Harvard Kennedy School and training at the International Urban Resilience Academy.
