Parthiban Selvam

Parthiban Selvam has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare and life sciences industry. Parthiban started their career as an Aerosol Engineer at UNM Cancer Center, where they led the development of powder coating for medical devices. Parthiban then worked as a Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on commercializing new product-process development. Subsequently, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Scientist at Savara Pharmaceuticals/University of Kansas, where they specialized in product development and market research for respiratory drug dosages.

Parthiban then transitioned into industry roles, starting as a Business Consultant at Cognizant, where they contributed to various business analysis and process consulting projects. Parthiban later joined Covidien as part of the Breakthrough Platforms team, where they formulated business development and marketing strategies for healthcare informatics. At TriZetto Healthcare Products, they served as a Product Owner, developing an IT product utilizing the scale agile framework and managing the product backlog.

Parthiban then returned to Cognizant as an Innovation Program Consultant in the Life Sciences division, where they spearheaded idea generation programs and researched industry and technology trends to drive innovation. Following this, they worked as a Senior Advisor at Thryve Digital Health LLP, where they provided guidance and expertise in the healthcare sector.

Currently, Parthiban is working as a Principal in the Healthcare & Life Sciences division at DISYS.

Parthiban Selvam graduated from Anna University with a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering in the year 2003. Parthiban then pursued their PhD in Chemical Engineering at Wayne State University from 2003 to 2008. Afterwards, they attended Singapore Management University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, from 2013 to 2014.
