Chad Butz

Chad Butz has extensive work experience in various senior leadership positions and advisory roles. Chad has served as the VP Product Marketing at Dext since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an independent consultant, filling interim and hands-on advisory roles in both early-stage and large-scale technology companies. Some notable positions they held include Interim Head of Product Marketing at Signal AI, supporting Digimarc/EVRYTHNG in taking their Consumer Engagement platform to market, and repositioning a UK-based B2B Smart Energy business at FGS Global. Chad also served as CEO/CPO at Septillion Technologies, Strategy Director at CPA Global, and CEO at OnePulse. Chad Butz was also a Non-executive Director at a BAFTA-winning mobile game dev studio and served as Interim VP Strategy & Marketing at Appsumer. Chad co-founded BiteDA and worked as the Chief Strategy Officer and CEO before it was acquired by Next 15. Chad Butz has a strong background in strategic program management, market research, go-to-market strategy, product management, product marketing, and brand positioning. Chad has a track record of supporting companies through launches, growth drives, pivots, major investment rounds, and IPO preparation.

Chad Butz has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Regina, where they studied Business Management, Marketing, and Finance from 1995 to 2000. In 2018, they completed the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme, specializing in Blockchain. Chad also attended the MIT Sloan School of Management in the same year, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and its implications for Business Strategy. In 2019, Chad obtained a certification in Digital Strategies for Business from Columbia Business School. Chad also received additional certifications in Blockchain Business Foundations and Growth Hacking Crash Course.
