Dawn Hart has over 17 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Dawn recently worked at DF Capital as the Compliance Director and MLRO. Prior to that, they served as a Trustee at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary and as an Audit and Risk Committee member at Samaritans. Dawn also held the position of Head of Operational Risk and MLRO at Cumberland Building Society. Dawn has extensive experience in the banking sector, having worked as the Head of Compliance at revverbank and as Vice President Chief Control Officer at Barclays UK. Dawn also worked at The Co-operative Bank plc as a Conduct and Product Risk Manager and as part of their Graduate Management Scheme. Earlier in their career, they were a Lead Advisor at Aviva plc and a Training Officer at Grosvenor Casinos Limited. Dawn has expertise in compliance, risk management, and strategy implementation, and has successfully established and managed various functions and teams.

Dawn Hart completed their Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics with First Class Honors from The University of Manchester. This course lasted from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. These certifications include the Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, which they obtained in March 2023. Dawn also holds the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from the same institution, which they obtained in February 2023. In October 2021, Dawn Hart obtained the Advanced Certificate in Fraud Prevention with a merit grade from the International Compliance Association. Furthermore, they have a Level 3 Certification in Counselling Skills from The Manchester College, acquired in July 2021. In July 2020, they completed the Advanced Certificate in Regulatory Compliance with a Distinction grade, and in December 2019, they obtained the Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering with a Distinction grade. Finally, they became an Associate Member of the International Compliance Association in December 2019.
