Paul Atherton

Paul Atherton has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Paul worked as an Operations Director at Distribution Finance Capital from 2018. Prior to that, they were at OakNorth, where they held the positions of Head of Operations and Programme Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing various operational functions, such as account origination, customer services, collections, and cash operations. Paul also played a key role in implementing the cultural definition of the bank and ensuring operational efficiency and scalability. Before OakNorth, Paul worked at Aldermore Bank PLC as Head of Business Support and Senior Operations Manager. In these roles, they led mortgage origination teams, achieved significant mortgage completions, and implemented process re-engineering projects. Paul began their career at Welcome Financial Services Ltd as a Senior Branch Manager.

Paul Atherton attended The University of Glamorgan from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a 2:1 degree in Business and Finance.
